Under 6 Free GP Scheme

Appointments for the under 6s are allocated on availability and it will not be possible to request a specific GP.  

To register please log on to www.gpvisitcard.ie and select Dr. Teresa Coll, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 – your child will be registered with Drumcondra Village Medical Centre.

What is covered by the scheme?  Simply all the normal acute medical care needs of your Under 6 child.

What is not covered by the scheme:  Non-medical tasks will now incur a charge.  List below are items not covered, as advised by the HSE –

Travel vaccinations             Passport/Identity Reports               Letters              Utility Reports/Letters

School attendance notes/certificates       Paediatric phlebotomy          Creche reports/Sports Medicals

Letters in support of application for services under the Social Welfare Acts (Housing, Clothing, etc.)

What does a parent do for Out of Hours care?  Drumcondra Village Medical Centre is a member of DDoc.  This services operates from 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday (24 hours), Bank Holidays, Weekends, Christmas and New Year.  Phone:  1850 22 44 77
